According to the StormWall research center, in the first quarter of 2025, the number of DDoS attacks on companies in the Middle East and North Africa increased by 274% compared to the same period last year. Additionally, StormWall experts found that DDoS attacks on API services in this region increased by 140% in the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period last year. The most attacked industries in the Middle East are retail (36% of the total number of attacks), the financial industry (21%), and the public sector (14%).
